ABOUT COLLEGE
Metamorphosis of Kothrud was contemplated two decades ago. The need was felt due to exponential growth of industrialization in Pune and around. The influx of people from outside and native state was growing everyday. Corner of all directions around Pune came to be occupied by big and small industries and consequently huge housing societies reached the limits of sky within short span of time.
Kothrud was on the forefront on all counts. The growth accelerated so speedily that it reached the threshold of “Guiness Book” to incorporate world record. Among these Landmark development in Kothrud, the horizon was further expanded and the educational area emerged in the from of the “ Raja Shree Shivraya Pratishthan”, which made its debut in 1983. The Pratishthan was blessed by dynamic and dedicated veteran leader Shri. Shashikantji Sutar, who devoted strived relentlessly for a common man in Kothrud for his individual and collective well being. The Pratishthan paved the gates to cultural, educational and sports activities very soon. All these areas were developed so precisely that this led to total growth of Kothrud.
The Pratishthan has a piece of land admeasuring about 3 acres at Survey No. 121/122 at Rambaug Colony, Kothrud, the beautiful piece of land soon witnessed school building, college premises Sport ground and institutional campuses. The Pratishthan is engaged in the multitude is educational and other activities benefiting over 2000 students and public in general.
