ABOUT COLLEGE
M P Birla Institute of Management was founded in the year 1999 at the premises of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Bangalore Kendra and blossomed into its present form with the generous support of Late Smt. Priyamvada Devi Birla, as an associate of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan. Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, founded by Kulapati Dr. K M Munshi for propagating Indian Culture and Values in the Society runs several education institutions from primary schools to postgraduate colleges. Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan is a proponent of higher education and has supported inception of flagship educational institutions like S P Jain Institute of Management, Mumbai. M P Birla Institute of Management has seen rapid progress under the aegis of the Bhavan’s trust to become one among a few select B-Schools in Karnataka.

Applicants should have passed a Bachelor's Degree (10+2+3/4/5)) in the English Medium from a UGC recognized institution with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks ((45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category). Students appearing for their Final Year Degree Exams are eligible to apply for admission. However, eligibility will be considered subject to students securing an overall aggregate of 50% and above in the Undergraduate Degree.
