ABOUT COLLEGE

RMD Sinhgad Technical Institutes campus founded (RMDSSOE) Warje in 2011 under the umbrella of institutes Sinhgad. The Institute is recognized by the AICTE and the Directorate of Technical Education, education, and Mumbai and belongs to the University of Pune, Maharashtra, India. Campus offers programs in engineering, management studies and computer studies. The endeavor Institute mold themselves and achieve the highest levels and expand the horizons of science and technology in the service of society. The campus offers programmes in Engineering, Management Studies and Computer Studies through the following schools.    

• RMD Sinhgad School of Engineering    
• RMD Sinhgad School of Management Studies.

RMD Sinhgad School of Computer Studies The campus is located in the Pune city which is the eight largest metropolis in India and one of the historical cities of India with a glorious past, an innovative present and a promising future. Pune is also known as Oxford of the East as well as 'Educational Capital' of the State of Maharashtra. Pune is also a well a known a Hub of Auto-sector and IT sector industries. Pune also boasts as the "Detroit of India". It was the capital of Maratha dynasty. The campus is well connected by Air, Rail and Bus. It is a lush green campus with good hostels for boys & girls, messes, canteens, sports ground, cultural centre etc. Sinhgad Technical Education Society has many varied institutes under its aegis. These are spread widely all over Maharashtra i.e in cities like Pandharpur, Lonavala, Pune, Mumbai, Solapur. These institutes have a proud heritage of educational excellence in the fields of Engineering, Medical science, Computer Applications, Business Management and other disciplines at the undergraduate and post-graduate level. Central Library Every institute has recourse to an independent library. There is also an impressively equipped Central Library with encyclopedic collections, references & text books, wide range of periodicals & journals of national & international standing. Internet All the campuses are Wi-Fi enabled. These Wi-Fi campuses are carefully and thoughtfully designed to align with world norms. Keeping in mind that the internet is the need of the hour, its upkeep is closely monitored. ·

Minimum Eligibility

Admission of Maharashtra State and OMS candidate to First Year (F.E.) of Bachelors in Engineering (BE) Passed Std XII (HSC) as well as secured 50% marks together in Physics, Mathematics as compulsory subjects and either Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subject. (45% for candidates of Backward Class) belonging to Maharashtra State. Valid Score at JEE-Main Admission for J & K migrant candidates: Eligibility criteria remains the same. However, the admissions of J & K Quota candidates are done by DTE MS. Please refer to www.dte.org.in for updated rules and schedule. Direct Admission to Second Year-Degree Course in Engineering (Lateral Entry): The Candidate must be an Indian National and passed Post-SSC or Post-HSC Diploma Course in Engineering/Technology with at least 45 % marks (40 % marks in the case of candidates from Back-ward class and Physically Handicapped categories belonging to the State of Maharashtra only) in the Appropriate branch of Engineering / Technology from an AICTE approved Institution with English as the medium of instruction at Diploma level. OR The Candidate must be an Indian National and passed B.Sc. Degree from a UGC /Association of Indian Universities recognized University with at least 45% marks (40% marks in the case of candidates from Back-ward class and Physically Handicapped categories belonging to the State of Maharashtra only).
