ABOUT COLLEGE
The Institute, Popularly known as M.D.I.M.R.T. , is established in 1987 by Shirur Shikshan Prasarak Mandal, for providing quality education at the post Graduation level, in the field of Management and
Computers. The Institute is recognized by University of Pune under section 85 of Maharashatra
Universities Act 1994. It is also recognized by the Government of Maharashatra and Board of Technical
Examination, Mumbai for running computer courses.
The all India council for Technical Education, New Delhi (AICTE) has given approval to the Institute to
conduct M.C.A Course from academic year 2002-2003. The Institute is functioning in own new modern
spacious building measuring about 22,000sq.ft of the campus. Also consists of Director's Quarter, Ladies
and Boys Hostels, Gymnasium, Playground, Assembly Hall, etc.

Minimum Eligibility
A candidate is declared eligible for the M.C.A. programme, if he/she has passed the degree examination of a recognized University with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (Open Category) and 45% marks (Reserved Category in Maharashtra only). In addition they need to have taken Maths as a subject at the 10 + 2 level or at Graduation.
