The social commercial and educational development in Pune is synonymous with advancement of Dhole Patil enterprise Dhole Patil family as rich history and has been at the forth front of social activity since then. Dhole Patil Education Society(DPES) was founded by Young and Dynamic Mr Sagar U. Dhole Patil in the year 2008 with a clear objective of providing quality technical education in tune with international standards and contemporary global requirements. The product of his vision, Dhole Patil College of Engineering (DPCOE) has captured all the forefronts of education including academics, sports and social activity, within a short span. The main objective here is to prepare the youth for the abstract future and make them capable of meeting the emerging challenges of liberalization, privatization and globalization.

DPCOE offers Bachelor of Education degree in affiliation with Pune University, under five major disciplines namely Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology Engineering and Automobile Engineering. To augment and sharpen the techno-commercial skills of engineering pass-outs, DPCOE has added two years course of Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Post Graduate Program under Pune University.
Dhole Patil College of Engineering has been Approved by A.I.C.T.E. New Delhi Govt. of Maharashtra & Affiliated to Pune University. Dhole Patil College of Engineering is being repaying the youth with a keen technology skills required for the highly competitive future.
The College offers BE course in Computer Engineering E & TC Information Technology Mechanical Engineering.
It offers facilities like library internet laboratories placements for all the candidates. The eligibilty for undergraduate courses is 10+2 pass and for post graduate courses the elibility is graduation. The admission to most of these courses is done through various entrance tests at different levels and for rest of the courses the admission is done directly.

Admission Criteria
It is compulsory to appear in JEE entrance for admission to engineering colleges for academic year 2014-15. The colleges would calculate the eligibility on basis of marks obtained in JEE and also the class XII marks of the students. The calculation of marks would include 50% weightage to JEE marks and 50% weightage to class XII marks whether it be CBSE, ICSE or respective state boards. The percentile would be calculated on basis of norms laid down by Indian Statistical Institute.
