Indian Institute of Technology, Indore popularly known as IIT-Indore is a governmental institute established in the year 2009. The college was established by the ministry of human resource development, government of India under the institutes of technology (Amendment) Act, 2011. The college is one of the 8 new IIT’s established by the government of India.

The IIT Indore campus is spread in an area of 510 acres of lush green land. The college campus is located in a serene and pollution free environment, at a distance of 25 km from the city of Indore. The campus has state of the art infrastructure comprising of all major facilities.

The IIT Indore has state of the art infrastructure comprising of facilities like spacious and ventilated classrooms with audio visual aids, well equipped labs and workshops, state of the art computing facilities with high speed internet connectivity, a well stocked central library. The other facilities include sports and gymnasium facility, canteen facility, hostel facility, medical facility.

Minimum Eligibility

10+2=60% For candidates who passed their Board examination , the eligibility criteria for admission is 60% marks (55% marks for SC/ST/PD) in their 12th Standard or equivalent qualifying examination.
