Vikas Group comprising of Vikas Global Solutions Ltd., Vikas Microchip Technologies, Biogene and Maithreyi has 13 years of background. The group has diversified into various activities as a leading technology solution provider in the areas of software Development, internet and Intranet based solutions, IT enabled services, GPS solutions, Bio Metric Solutions, IT enabled services, GPS solutions, Bio Metric Solutions, Technology based products distribution and corporate Education services. The group has also significant presence in Biotechnology, Agriculture and Energy sector. The groups Education division is imparting distance education since 2001 through Karnataka State Open University, with B.Sc(IT) andM.Sc.(IT). From 2003 tied-up with distance education wing of sikkim Manipal University for offering MCA, MBA, MBA(IT), M.Sc(IT), BBA, BCA, B.Sc(IT)etc and various Diploma and PG Diploma cources. In 2005 tied up with Distance Education Wing of Kuvempu University for Msc & Bsc Program. Overall more than 20000 students have got the Bachelors and Master Degrees so far and have been placed in various organizations in India and Abroad.
To provide high end research, educational services and other allied social activities the group has established "Sharadha Vikas Trust". Which is non-profit outfit of the group, which will impart education and other social services to all the needy people in the society.
