ABOUT COLLEGE

Justice K S Hegde Institute of Management was established by the Nitte Education Trust on July 4, 1998. Named after the visionary and founder, late Justice K S Hegde, the Institute offers a two-year full time MBA program recognised by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) and the Government of Karnataka and is affiliated to the Visvervaraya Technological University, Belgaum.The Institute is also recognised as a centre for guiding research. The institute was recently accredited by ACBSP and is now among the very few institutes in India with the ’ACBSP accredited status’. The institute is also accredited by NAAC and the MBA program is also accredited by NBA. The Institute has been recognised among the premier B-schools in Karnataka based on its performance in the field of academics, consultancy and research activity.The last fifteen years have seen the institute grow from a fledgling institute with only 40 students in the first batch of 1998-2000 to an institution which rewarded MBA degrees to 157 students in the 16th batch under the guidance of nearly 20 faculty members.

Minimum Eligibility

MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY Graduates in Agriculture, Arts, Commerce, Engineering, Management, Law, Science or other disciplines coming under the 10+2+3 scheme with a minimum of 50% marks (aggregate of three years including languages) in the qualifying examination are eligible. Those appearing for final degree examinations can also apply.
