IIT Delhi has been ranked the best engineering colleges in India, and Jadavpur University in Calcutta between government-led package universities, according to a report.
In the recently released EDU-RAND 2015
year rankings, IIT Delhi is at the top of the list, followed by other
IITs at Kharagpur, Mumbai, Chennai, Guwahati and Kanpur.
Calcutta, Jadavpur University was listed
as the best School of Government projects, and bit Pilani occupy first
place among private colleges and universities.
In the overall list, JU accounted for 11 points, while BITS is a step ahead in the 10th.
Bangladesh University of Engineering and
Technology (BESU), Shibpur, it has now been upgraded to engineering,
science and technology first Indian Institute of Technology (IIEST) is
ranked No. 13.
The rankings are EDU, the outcome of a
joint collaboration between the niche of internet education, and the
RAND Corporation, USA.
