ABOUT COLLEGE
Shailendra Degree College was started in September, 1994 to cater to the long-felt need of the student population of Dahisar, after obtaining permission from the Government of Maharashtra and the University of Mumbai. The College made a beginning with one division of First year B.Com class for the academic year 1994-95. The College also started the Arts Faculty in June 1995.
We now have a full fledged Degree college in the Commerce and the Arts Faculty. The Arts & Commerce faculty is on 100% grant basis and the College has acquired permanent affiliation status.

Admission Criteria
A candidate for being eligible to the B.M.S degree course shall have Passed XIIth examination of the Maharashtra Board of Higher Secondary Education or Diploma in any Engineering branches with two or three years or four years duration after S.S.C conducted by the Board of Technical Education Maharashtra State or its equivalent examination.
