Within the last decade, the establishment and success of high technology firms in Bangalore have lead to the growth of Information Technology (IT) in India. IT firms in Bangalore employ about 30% of India's pool of 1 million IT professionals. The city is also the Training Center for the Indian Air Force, the Madras Engineering Group (MEG) and Central Military Police, the latter two being arms of the Indian Army.Bangalore is the scientific hub of India and it has the world renowned and the oldest Research University, Indian Institute of Science. The other research institutes are the Indian nstitute of Astrophysics, the Raman Research Institute, the Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research, the National Center for Biological Science and the Indian Statistical Institute.Bangalore boasts of its numerous gardens and historical sites such as the Lal Bagh Botanical Gardens which holds a number of flower shows especially during the Republic Day.The Vidhan Soudha or the State Secretariat, the Government Museum of Bangalore, the Vishweshwaraya Technological and Industrial Museum, the Fort of Tipu Sultan and Bangalore Palace are other places which attracts several tourists. The age old temples of Nandi, the Bull; Venkataramanaswamy; the Gavi Gangadhareshwara and the Someshwara are world famous for their unique architectural designs.Teachers' Academy Group of Institutions(TAGI)Bangalore, few decades ago known as clean and green cool vibrant city for retirement living, later turned into software capital of India, these days silicon city, is also becoming a prominent hub for providing professional and core education system. Teachers' Academy Group of Institutions, situated 12kms away from central Bangalore, located in Hennur Main Road, near Kammanahalli actually was the brain child of a group of student-caring lecturers, who realized after working in different institutions that there were so many deficiencies and lapses in many college managements and their education systems as an impact of which their students failed to make it big in this competitive world.Parents send their wards to institutions to get quality education and career guidance and it becomes the moral responsibility of the educational institutions to bring the best out of the students. These mentors along with few other likeminded teachers from different colleges came together and conceived Teachers' Academy: an epitome for quality education.
